Palarasul is grown in the fertile highland regions of Espiritu Santo (pop. 40,000), the largest island of Vanuatu. Its rich volcanic soil helps to produce a kava typically smooth, creamy, and subtly nutty, promoting a sense of calmness and clarity. It appears light in color, when prepared.
