The Australia and New Zealand-funded PHAMA Plus program, in partnership with Fiji’s Ministry of Agriculture and Waterways (MoAW), has developed a comprehensive set of kava plant health resources. The package includes technical guides, animated videos in iTaukei, Fiji Hindi, and English, and farmer-focused social media materials, providing practical guidance to identify, prevent, and manage kava pests and diseases—especially Kava Dieback Disease (KDD).
